ACL Return to Play

One in four athletes who have returned to sport following an ACL repair will re-injure the same knee or tear the ACL in their uninvolved knee. Most athletes returning to sport after ACL repair are underprepared for the demands of their sport. Insurance often does not cover the extended rehab required to get your body prepared for sport. We offer a 10 visit program designed to take you from the point where you are cleared by your surgeon to start running to where you can safely return to 100% (or better) of your pre-injury physical ability.

Athlete Risk Assessment

An injury can sideline even the best athlete. Knowing your strengths and working on your weaknesses can decrease your risk of injury. We provide a comprehensive evaluation of your strength and mobility. We emphasize functional mobility testing, running assessments, and other evidence-based measurable metrics to ensure you can withstand your sport-specific physical demands and meet your goals.

Running Assessment

Whether getting back to running after an injury, trying to continue training while battling symptoms, or just wanting to improve your mechanics and efficiency, we can help! Running places demands not only on your muscles and bones, but also on your energy systems. Our comprehensive evaluation can identify areas to address so that you can train pain-free and achieve your running goals.

Return To Sport Testing

Comprehensive testing of an athlete’s readiness to return to sport after injury. This is often performed after an ACL reconstruction prior to clearance to return to play. This includes a full physical therapy exam plus sport-specific testing. A full written assessment is provided to you with recommendations for specific work needed to reduce your risk of re-injury as well as maximize your strength, power, and speed.
